How to Customize Your QR Code Shapes and Borders

Standard, rigid square QR codes are a thing of the past! Whether you are printing flyers, designing business cards, or creating table menus, you want your QR code to seamlessly blend with your branding.
You can now fully customize the physical shape of your QR codes (including new circular designs!), adjust the style of the data dots, and add colored frames to make your call-to-action pop.

🎨 Step 1: Customize Your Shape and Dots
When generating a new QR code, progress to the final QR Color and Shape step in the builder.
- QR Shape: Choose the overarching boundary of your code. You can stick with the traditional Square, soften it with a Rounded Square, or select the brand-new Circle option!
- Dots & Markers: Customize the internal pattern of the QR code. You can change the shape of the individual data dots, as well as the outer borders and center blocks of the three larger alignment markers.

🖼️ Step 2: Add Borders and Frames
To make your QR code stand out even more against your printed backgrounds, you can wrap it in a custom geometric frame.
Scroll down to the Border and Frame section of the settings panel:

- Select Border for a simple, clean outline around your shape.
- Select Frame for a thicker, more pronounced enclosure.
- Use the QR Border/Frame Color picker to input the exact hex code of your brand colors, ensuring the frame matches your marketing materials perfectly.
