Enhanced Appointment Booking Experience in Opportunities

Schedule and manage appointments directly from your sales pipeline without ever leaving the Opportunity card.

  • Unified Interface: You can now book appointments directly within the Opportunity sidebar.
  • Contextual Booking: No more navigating away to the Calendar tab; the system automatically links the appointment to the specific contact and opportunity.

  • Why It Matters 💡
    Speed is the name of the game in sales. Previously, users had to jump between the Opportunities board and the Calendars tab to set a meeting, leading to lost time and potential data entry errors. This update keeps you focused on the deal flow, allowing you to move leads through the pipeline faster by securing the "next step" immediately.

    How It Works ⚙️
    ➡️ Requirements
  • An active Calendar must be configured in Huxley Social.
  • The user must have permissions to view and edit Opportunities.
  • ➡️ Setup Steps
    1. Navigate to the Opportunities tab and select your desired pipeline.
    2. Click on a specific Opportunity Card to open the detailed sidebar.
    3. Locate the new Book Appointment action (or the Calendar icon) within the card interface.

    4. Select the Calendar you wish to use for the booking.

    5. Choose an available Date and Time from the real-time slot picker.

    6. Confirm the appointment details. The contact information from the Opportunity will pre-populate.

    7. Click Save/Confirm.

  • Automatic Linking: The appointment is automatically tied to the Opportunity, ensuring that workflow triggers (like "Appointment Confirmed") fire correctly for that specific deal.
  • Visibility: You can now view upcoming appointments directly on the Opportunity card summary.

  • Timezones: The booking modal respects the timezone settings of the selected calendar.
  • Existing Appointments: If a contact already has an appointment, you can view or reschedule it directly from this view as well.

  • Calendar Not Showing: Ensure your calendar is "Active" and not "Draft" in the Calendar Settings.
  • No Available Slots: Double-check your "User Availability" and "Meeting Buffers" if you don't see the expected time slots.

  • Does this work on the Mobile App? This specific enhanced UI update is currently optimized for the desktop dashboard experience.
  • Will this trigger my automation workflows? Yes. Any workflow triggered by "Appointment Status" or "Calendar Event" will function exactly as if the booking happened on a standalone link.
