How To Locate Survey and Form Answers

Learn how to find, review, and export your form and survey submissions across different areas of the Huxley platform.

 What’s New? 🔥

  • Conversations Integration: You can now view form submissions directly within a contact's conversation thread for instant context.
  • Unified Interaction History: See form answers alongside SMS and email history without leaving the chat window.
  •  Why It Matters 💡

Gathering lead data is only half the battle. This update ensures that your team can access that data exactly where they need it—whether they are performing deep-data analysis in a spreadsheet or replying to a hot lead in real-time.

     How It Works ⚙️

➡️ Option 1: Within Conversations (!New) (April 17, 2026 update)

This is the fastest way to see what a lead just submitted while you are chatting with them.

    1. Navigate to the Conversations tab.
    2. Open the thread for the specific contact.
    3. Look for the Form Submission card within the message history.
    4. Click the card to expand and view the full details of their answers.

➡️ Option 2: Within Specific Contact Records
    1. Go to the Contacts tab and select a specific record.
    2. On the left-hand sidebar, click on Additional Info.
    3. Scroll through the fields to find the stored answers mapped from your forms or surveys.
➡️ Option 3: Via the Form/Survey Builder (Bulk View)
    1. Navigate to SitesForms (or Surveys).
    2. Click on Submissions.
    3. Use the Search and Filter tools to find specific responses by date or contact name.

➡️ Exporting to Google SheetsTo perform advanced analysis, you can move your data into a spreadsheet:
    1. In the Submissions area (Sites → Forms → Submissions), select the records you wish to export.
    2. Click the Export to CSV button.
    3. Open Google Sheets, go to File > Import, and upload your CSV file.

     Important Notes

  • Internal Terminology: Form and Survey tools are native to the Huxley Social platform.
  • Mapping: Ensure your form fields are mapped to "Contact Fields" if you want them to appear in the "Additional Info" section of a contact record.
  •  FAQs ❓

Can I see form answers if the lead is new? Yes. If the form creates a new contact, the submission will appear in both the new Contact Record and the initial Conversation thread automatically.

What if a form submission isn't showing up in Conversations? Ensure the form was created natively within Huxley Social and that the contact's email or phone number matches the existing record in your CRM.

How do I filter submissions by specific criteria? In the Form Submissions area (Sites → Forms → Submissions), you can filter by date or search by contact name to locate specific entries.

Can I export individual responses or only the entire dataset? Currently, you export data in sets via CSV for analysis in tools like Google Sheets. For viewing a single individual's responses, it is most efficient to view them directly within their Contact Record or Conversation thread.

Is there a limit to how many records I can export? The export functionality is designed to handle large datasets, though performance may vary depending on your local system's capabilities and total file size.

Can I automate the export process to Google Sheets? While the standard tool is a manual CSV export, automation options may be available through third-party integrations (like Zapier) or custom webhooks depending on your specific workflow needs.

What if I need more detailed analytics than what Google Sheets offers? For advanced data visualization, we recommend exporting your data and importing it into dedicated BI (Business Intelligence) or data analysis platforms.
