Viewing Failed Post Error Messages in the Social Planner

There are a variety of reasons when a social post may fail to successfully post to Facebook, GMB, Instagram, or LinkedIn. One of the most common examples is a Social Account token expiring. This can happen after a time period (set by the social media program itself - such as LinkedIn account tokens expiring after 60 days and Facebook tokens expiring after 90 days), or if an account password is changed.

Below is a list of common reasons and solutions, along with the relevant error codes. This will help you troubleshoot any issues you may experience. When you navigate to the Social Planner and view “Failed” posts, you can see the error code, along with a message about the failure reason and the proposed solution.
